5.4 lcs.audit.key.deleted

  • Event type: lcs.audit.key.deleted
  • Defined in: lcs.evman
  • Tier: essential
  • Gating: DELETE overlaps the alarm mask cached on the key handle
  • Cardinality: once per delete through a handle whose mask covers it

The record that a registry key was deleted from a layer through its own handle, or that an attempt failed. The key named is the one deleted, the handle's key, by GUID and full path.

Deleting a layer's metadata key, Machine\System\Registry\Layers\<Name>, deletes the layer itself; the record then also names the layer.
