5.10 lcs.audit.restore.started

  • Event type: lcs.audit.restore.started
  • Defined in: lcs.evman
  • Tier: essential
  • Gating: none — audited unconditionally
  • Cardinality: one record per occurrence

The record that a registry subtree restore began, emitted before any state is modified. As with backup, this is a privilege-gated bulk operation that bypasses per-key access checks, and is audited regardless of the target's SACL.

A restore rewrites configuration wholesale, so a start with no matching end means the store may be in a partially rewritten state.

Emission failure fails the operation with EIO.
